Then pay close attention\u2014<strong>IRCC has updated the minimum settlement funds you need to remain eligible<\/strong> for permanent residence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each year, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) updates this threshold based on 50% of the <strong>Low Income Cut-Off (LICO)<\/strong>. These changes help ensure newcomers have sufficient funds to settle successfully in Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udd01 What Changed?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>On <strong>July 7, 2025<\/strong>, the required <strong>Proof of Funds (POF)<\/strong> amounts have been revised.
